UPSC CURRENT AFFAIRS

Current affairs are very important aspect of UPSC prelims. It is interconnected with all other subjects. Many people spends a lot of time reading news paper. There is no need to read the whole news. So let us formulate a strategy.

STRATEGY

How to read a news paper?
It is better if we can follow at least two news papers , ( The Hindu and Indian Express). There is no need to spend more than one hour on news paper reading, We should focus on the news related to our syllabus like for Eg; Economics, New policies, Schemes, Environment , History etc. To make the process more effective we can create a basic understand of the subject dealt in the article by a google search, It is more effective if we note down important points. Don't miss the relevant editorials. Build a clear perspective it is very  important.

AREAS OF FOCUS;

 International relations, places in news, govt schemes, Disasters, new species, National parks, defense, history related, economy, RBI related etc( understand syllabus)

Revision

We can depend on our handmade notes also the materials available on internet, stick to one repeat the process.
It is ok to forget , all we need to do is be consistent. Do a weekly revision and a monthly one. attend mock tests.
Trust we can.
