WHAT IS CHATGPT?

ChatGPT is a chat bot powered by artificial intelligence that can be used to ask queries. This chat bot is designed in such a way that the replies to the queries are both technical and jargon free. It is a natural language processing (NLP) model that works using a large corpus of conversational data. It is capable of generating human- like replies , allowing natural conversation between the user and the virtual assistant.

The chat bot makes use of reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) technology . however it is modified to appear more friendly to humans. It is based on GPT- 3.5- a deep - learning language model  that produces human - like text.

The technology produces different answers for the same question in the future since it improves over time and understands queries better through machine learning.

APPLICATIONS

Once the ChatGPT is fully tested , its  services can be extended to companies that depend on chat bots.
It can be used for customer services ( Paytm, Swiggy, Airtel, etc) and personal assistance - assist users with scheduling, remainders and other such tasks.
It can also be used by students to get answers to complex questions in simple words and solve complex math problems.
This AI - powered chat bot is also capable of reviewing and writing codes in seconds . This is making future of coders grim.
Despite showing huge potential in acting as an effective virtual assistant, ChatGPT is unlikely to replace google.
This is because Google is a search engine and ChatGPT is a chat bot. However , both of these platforms are used for the same purpose - assist users by answering different queries.
While ChatGPT  makes use of natural language processing technology to make natural conversation with humans, Google is designed to find information on internet.

LIMITATIONS

ChatGPT is occasionally found to generate incorrect answers to the questions .
This can potentially produce harmful instructions for biased content.
The chatbot's knowledge is limited to events before 2021.
It is unable to provide answers to country specific questions.
It is only capable of providing generalized answers, unlike Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa that are more focused on giving specific answers to use queries.
