The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued Advertisement No. A-4/E-1/2026 dated 26 October 2026 for the Samiksha Adhikari/Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari Etc. (General/Special Recruitment) Examination 2026, covering Review Officer (Samiksha Adhikari), Assistant Review Officer (Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari) and related posts in the UP Secretariat, UPPSC, the Board of Revenue and the Office of the Advocate General, UP.

Eligibility: A bachelor's degree from a university established by law in India, or a government-recognised equivalent qualification, held by the last date of application. Application fee (preliminary examination)

Exam pattern

Preliminary examination: one objective paper of 200 questions - 140 on general studies and 60 on general Hindi - carrying 200 marks in 3 hours, with negative marking for wrong answers.

Main (written) examination: four conventional papers of 200 marks each - General Studies I, General Studies II, General Hindi and Drafting, and Hindi Essay - of 3 hours each. Selection is made on the basis of total marks in the main examination.

One-Time Registration (OTR) at otr.pariksha.nic.in is mandatory and must be obtained at least 72 hours before submitting the online application at the UPPSC website. Applications are accepted online only; no other mode will be accepted.
