1. Supreme Court JCA 2026: application window starts today
Window: 7 October 2026 at 10 AM to 28 October 2026 at 11:55 PM, according to the Court's application-link notice dated 6 October. At this morning check, opening was still scheduled for later today; do not assume registration is available before 10 AM.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in India, knowledge of computer operation and typing speed of 35 words per minute on computer. Age 18-30 as on 1 September 2026; the advertisement specifies category relaxations and departmental provisions.
Vacancies and pay: 250 tentative Junior Court Assistant vacancies, Group B non-gazetted, Pay Level 6 with initial basic pay of Rs 35,400 plus allowances.
Fee: Rs 1,500 for General/Unreserved candidates; Rs 750 for the SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Ex-servicemen/Physically Challenged categories listed in the advertisement, plus bank charges. The fee is non-refundable.
Selection includes an objective test, an English typing test, an English descriptive written test and interview. Read the updated syllabus in the advertisement rather than relying on an older JCA preparation page.

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Law, professional or integrated, from a university established by law in India, plus two years' actual practice at the bar, certified by the authority specified in the notice. Recruitment is restricted to Ladakh domiciles. The stated ST age limit is 40, with the further PwBD relaxation given in the notice. Pay Level 8.
